If you upgrade to their 10rib drive system they have pullies as small as 80mm available.

I'd also take the psi ratings of the pullies as a general guideline and not an absolute - I've seen 11-12psi on my 9.5 one.
This is great info.

Have you had to put boostane in every time you fill up on 93 running the 9.5 psi pulley?

Same setup I’ll be running PBD tuned.

Kevin is correct.

The pulleys shown on the website are for 6 rib applications. With the 10 rib upgrade you can opt for smaller pulleys. We can also make a custom size upon request.

We have had several local customers make 900+ whp with the G3. We’ve made well over 1xxx whp in a corvette with supporting mods and built motor.
Thanks for the info Brevin. Definitely considering going for 900whp in a year or so.
For now, excited to install the kit and see how the A10 does with 9.5psi.
I’ll post 60-130 times once the car is ready.

From my logging, it seems happy on just 93. I generally run a bit of VP Octanium additive as a safety net.

From what I understand based on what you are saying is that the G3 at 12psi and e85 should make 900whp+ because it flows more air?

Paxton CFM is around 1700 and it takes 16psi+ to make over 900whp.

Hopefully ESS has smaller pulleys for the G3 kit that aren’t posted on the website.

This is all out of curiosity, either way I will stay on 93 for a while and am excited for the kit to get here.

Thanks for correcting me. Very well, impressive the G3 flows better than a Paxton.

Have you done a 60-130 dragy on the 9.5 pulley?
Yes, I've been 6.24 on the 9.5. On the 11psi pulley I had a 5.96 with some knock recorded on that run. Both were on a 100 octane tune from PBD on race fuel. Its usually in the 6.5 range on the 9.5 pulley on 93.

Interestingly enough, the Vortech V7 JTB flows 1600 cfm according to the Paxton / Vortech website.
The G3 looks impressive. Comparable to the JTB and even more than the D1X.
But like everything else, take things with a grain of salt. Efficiency etc and blah blah blah.
Kevin’s G2 runs hard with fantastic numbers and mph. Heck, there’s a thread from Procharger running a P1X bottom 8s. And this unit is “supposed” to max out at 1275 cfm.

Me thinks at this point the stock 1100 cfm TB becomes the restriction .

Is anybody running over 800whp with this kit? G3 is advertised to make 950whp but the lowest pulley indicates 12psi on 110mm. Seems low to make over 900whp.
I ordered a G2 about a week ago and got an email last night saying it shipped. Excited to install and see how the car does with a 8.5 and a 9.5psi pulley on 93.

We don't really have much info about the g3 other than it made really good power at low boost according to 1 dyno. You can also exchange the impeller on the g3 and make it a g3x which is even better for higher hp applications. I think im sort of around the max for my setup. 11 psi e54 and the g2. My tuner said the headunit was starting to create more heat so it was apparently reaching its efficiency limit. Could more power be made with meth or boost yes but not as easily. I think the g3 would really shine in the higher boost numbers because it is more efficient in that area so in other words it's just a lot easier for it to make power. As far as where they get 900 or 950 whp I would guess thats e54 or on full e85

What has peaked my interest is the idea that the G2 makes better low end torque than the P1X at the same RPM. I have a stick with the poorer ratios Ford started using. Torque is important to my application but I am refraining from PD.
Very interested in everyone's results. Great on topic thread!

Still working on it. I'm not 100% sure if changing the in tank pump to a larger one will fix the lean code issue because my stft's are on point and the car seems to run pretty well.
Any update on this?

I'm still waiting on the DW400 pump to arrive and install, but I'm not 100% sure if it will fix the code issue or not. Hopefully it will get sorted soon. I did some additional troubleshooting with the BAP connected and disconnected and the codes still get generated either way.

I forget is your tuner pbd? Have they looked at your logs and did they see anything worrying?
