Curious since I’m battling hot start issues myself.

In my case, the car cranks and fires almost immediately gets up up to 900ish rpm’s then chokes out. I can also start it in flood clear mode (brake and gas pedal held at the same time) and it will crank just fine.

I’m assuming that would rule out the starter being the culprit? (Aside from the fact that disconnecting my meth injection also cures my starting issue)
Yours may be the check valve on the pumps or something to do with fuel. I've heard of other guys having hot start issues after installing fuel system.

I was having hot start issues. Told Wengerd about it, he sent a revision over and it hasn’t died since. It’s come close but so far so good.

So what kind of numbers on pump with the g2 are people making compared to the g3 with the 120mm pulley option? Rather not have to scroll through all the past pages.

There are dyno sheets about the G2/G3. 30whp-50whp between the 2.

Is there any way to retain the support bars (red in the pic below) with the ESS intercooler? Stock PP1 ones won't work, but are there any aftermarket options? Are they even worth trying to keep?

I also wondered this. I didn’t seem any possible way to keep them but would be rad if someone else figured out something

Please let us know. I for one, WILL NEVER remove any support bar, Brace, Structure for any reason. Now if their is a Viable alternative which retains these supports I am All In.

those braces are only on pp1 cars , I bent mine very lightly to make the work. Next time I take my bumper I’m going to remove them they don’t do a dang thing.

I would respectively disagree. Ford Engineers spent millions engineering these cars. Their is a reason for every single part on these car. Good luck

so why do pp1 cars have them and others don’t. If it’s so bad to remove. If you think that way I wouldn’t do a damn thing to your car. You put a 40lb supercharger on the car it changes things. You weight 150lbs I weight 300 it changes things . You’re over thinking it

I've worked with engineered and manufactures and I can assure you, they don't spend money on parts, materials which they feel aren't needed. But, you do have the choice to do what ever you feel like doing to your car.
