What the heck is all this about? I understand limiting the higher revs until the engine is up to temperature, but limited that same rev range to 8 second bursts is a huge let down. What if you need to hold a gear for a long straight? Or if you were just upshifting at WOT, the revs will not fall below the threshold, so what happens then? Is this worded wrong or what? I was 99% going to get a '17, even got the ok from the wife LOL, but if this is really on the car I will pass as it seems like Ford couldn't engineer the engine to last at those revs, so they covered themselves with a bandaid...someone out there please tell me I am reading into this wrong.
