When I was looking at GT350s, around April/May timeframe I saw them for '19s around that much. I was considering getting one as a backup if I couldn't get a Heritage Edition with the options I wanted at MSRP. Alot of them had a $7,500 discount and they were brand new.
Yeah I got mine for around 11k under MSRP. Decent deal. It's my weekend ride so I feel good about it sitting while it's not nice out with the deal I got. LOL

Everyone enjoy your cars--and getting a great price is icing on the cake. I got my HEP R for $300 under MSRP--not $11k--but at least no ADM.

And I agree with an earlier post--anyone can buy a Porsche--but not everyone can get a HEP R. My HEP R is stunning in stock form.

It was beautiful day today, and I stopped in where I got the front clip XPel'd to schedule ceramic tint on my Raptor windows, and even with Lambo's, McLaren's, and GT3's in the shop, my car still get's a ton of attention and questions.

Name of dealer. I'd like to contact and watch their inventory in the future with discounts like that.

Good luck. I had been watching prices for the past year and never saw anything like that. The dealer essentially paid $5k to get rid of the car. Not common on any car, let alone a GT350. Maybe if the dealer is going out of business or there's another national panic, you can catch one during that little window.

Exactly that is why i'd like to contact this dealer.

R or no R the thought of ever getting rid of my 19 in my lifetime has never crossed my mind and I am in my 20s. Maybe in the future if I found a low mile super clean R I might trade up, but I will never get rid of this FPC Voodoo it sounds too good with the Corsa X Pipe and everyone in my town thinks so to. Next up is saving for some signature wheels.

2016 tech pack with some miles I'm sure.

That will be a fun car to get cheap in the future - strip it for weight - add lightweight seats and do some autoX.

I'm driving mine! No worry about resale value here. If I see something else I want to experience then I'll look at current values but at this moment I'm really having fun with the car. NC mtns, almost 400 miles of two lane roads this past weekend!

I will just say I got it from a dealer in a cold, snowy state. Couldn't drive the car on the roads due to cold temps and ice. Rolled from showroom floor into and enclosed transport trailer. Then out of trailer into my driveway in FL.

Congrats Hope you enjoy it.

I just relocated to Panama City, hope to cross paths with you in the future.

My 19 R is still in the Orlando area as I could not move it up here yet, but I have my 2007 GT500 to cruise.

I also do not buy that the 19/20s will be worth any more than other years. While the 19/20 have upgraded features, some have complained about the steering feedback with the new knuckle, and the red seat inserts are not for everyone. Also there are documented engine failures with the gen 2 as well.
Interesting... I havenā€™t seen any complaints regarding the new knuckles and steering of the 2020 R. Whatā€™s the complaints?

As the prior owner of the 64th routine production GEN 1 350R (GR064) and now the owner of HEP R 178, I can honestly tell you that the cars are totally different in driving character.

GR064 was more raucous and less refined... HEPR 178 has better road manners and comfort, while being able to handle just as good, if not better than GR064.

The revisions to the rack and the knuckles, along with some minor suspension changes, have tuned the R into more of a ā€œdirected inputā€ with better feedback, IMHO. The seats are similar in the HEP R to the GEN 1 R, which I thankfully appreciate much more. The added GEN 2 engine features just sealed the deal for me.

So, if I had to pick between my GEN 1 and my GEN 2, Iā€™d pick the GEN 2 night and day above the GEN 1.

IIRC, @stanglife had a GEN 1 R, and is looking at, or has gotten, a GEN 2 R... his feedback would help here as well.

Probably COVID fears...
