I have driven a couple hundred km's with the pill in and a couple hundle with it out.There is definetly more low speed (from a dead stop) surging without the pill but I think that is do to how quick the boost comes in and by relearning throttle management with your right foot it almost disapears after driving for a few minutes.My girlfriend drove the car with the pill in and she didn't notice any difference from when it was stock.
What do u like better, pill in or pill out....
But other than a teeny bit of surge the tunes working out well for you, trans shift good?

I will leave the pill out for the rest of this season and until I get to try it at the track.I can tell you that in this cool fall weather traction is severly limited even from a roll at 60mph on my yoko 305-30-20's.Without the pill the redline comes real quick in any gear from a 3000rpm Rolling start.

Nothing just the stage 2 and 1'' lowering springs (I removed the Air Lift V2 when I installed the S/C for track duty)

Heck, my car is 100% stock except the stage 2 kit. Canned tune on 91. Runs purrfectly and good power. Happy with my dyno results, too.

Edelbrock uses a nitrous pill (jet) to slow down the boost rate.Removing it equals instant boost at any speed.

Light throttle causes surging with out the pill. But the boost comes on to last in the band with it in. I was never in boost unless I was at 5k or something. Partial throttle I’m making 3-4 lbs. when I nail it I can go up to almost 15lbs. And you just say see ya while others are scratching their head

Stupid question.. What is the "pill"?
In the bypass valve vacuum line they put a nitrous pill to stop boost surge. It's just a little metal fixed orifice. It cushions the air going to the valve so it doesn't react so fast for a smoother throttle response.

What pulley are you on to see 15psi on the Edelbrock?

What pulley are you on to see 15psi on the Edelbrock?
he is running a stage 2 with an 8 rib. but to answer your question he has a 3.5 upper with the 15% lower.

Fyi- the pill ( nitrous oxide jet) in the stage 2 kit is 0.15. You could fine tune with other sizes.

Why is it called a nitrous pill though? What does nitrous have to do with it?
