Stymee: correct- straight 91 without octane booster. Was thinking of trying to add either some booster or mix in some 101 gas to see if anything noticeable. I could load the Edelbrock 93 canned tune, but dont really need the hassle of trying to find the required gas. 91 is the standard out here, but there are 2 VP stations each 35 miles away that sell the 101 octane.
I have a 101 octane pump literally 3 miles from my pad so I just run that on 93 tune just to be safe.

Is it a VP Fuels station? Also, are you running the Edelbrock 93 tune?

There's a 76 station here that has pump VP 101, like 8.69 a gallon. It's not an issue for me because my commute is under 20 miles round trip per day.

Running canned 93 tune.

Wow...that is encouraging to hear! Any chance you might have done any datalogging to see if any knock or other issues on the 93 tune on 101 octane?
