Has anyone out there actually installed a Edelbrock E-Foce 2650 Stage 1 SC on their 2019 (or’18) GT yet? I’m contemplating this as opposed to the tried-and-true Roush Stage 1. Don’t plan or tracking or drag racing just want the most DEPENDABLE and a strong warranty ( both have e years). My dealership in Salinas, CA is also an authorized Roush dealer so I figured that any SC issues I have can be serviced by them. Easy-Pepys. But Edelbrock has a great design and a bit longer on the mileage-part of the warranty plus their over-all coverage goes up to $15,000 while I believe Roush only goes to $7500. My problem with Edlebrock is that I can’t find anyone who actually HAS one on their 18-19 GT and I don’t want to be the test rat in the real world. Thoughts?

The Roush supercharger for the 18 or 19 is not CARB certified in California. Go with the Edelbrock.

Once the warranty period is up, the Edelbrock will allow you a lot more room to grow.
Bigger heat exchanger, bigger intercooler for a start.

We have installed tons of these at my shop. We love the Edelbrock Kit. The ability to grow and make more power with the kit is endless! With a stage 2 kit and e-85 on 16 psi we made 950WHP and 860WTQ with the same base supercharger that comes in the Stage 1 kit.

How many is “tons”? Being that 2019 is a new model I am thinking 3ish, lol.

Funny, for some reason I thought the 19s were different than the 18s. So how many 18-19s, 6ish?? A ton is 2000, so guessing it still hasn’t been tons.
A "ton" is a measurement of weight. Gross weight of a 2650 kit is 142lbs. The closest equivalent to a "ton" (2000lbs) is 14 kits (1988lbs). I can safely say I haven't installed "TONS", but definitely one "ton".:beer:

I have it on my 18, it comes with a 2 stickers, one is the EO number and the other is a belt diagram that also has the EO number on it. The kit is nice, it makes good power and a lot of low end torque. The design is also a lot more efficient than the Roush and is scalable if you ever want to make more power(I believe their stage 2 is going to CARB approved as well).
