Fuel systems aren't crazy expensive.
Why cheap out and keep it stock when dropping $6k+ on a supercharger kit?

LPF sells a 1000whp capable fuel system fr 18+ for $1250. Just need to pick up a set of injectors and fuel system complete for e85. I run FIC 1000's
Currently running that on my car and have been 8.95 @156 in around 2k DA

Here's a Whipple setup LFP just replaced the warranty whipple tune with a Palm Beach Dyno tune. It gained 65 hp where it counts.

I'll be at the shop tonight to confirm what all comes with it.
I know it is a twin pump return style fuel system with a fuel regulator as well.
The rails have been modified to allow for big power as well.

I will also talk to him on updating the product on the website.
You can also message them on facebook or send an email to them for direct information!

Awesome. Every system shows they are on backorder. So they may not be in a hurry to update the website. lol

I’m curious on that fuel system as well.

I would assume the stock Edelbrock fuel rails are capable of supporting a lot more power but I have yet to find any data to say what the limits are of those rails.

I bet as long as you stayed on the stock pulley a set of 1050 injectors, bap, and appropriate tuning would allow you to run E85. Probably make 700 whp easy on stock pulley. Could always add the meth as back up over certain psi.

Let me get back to guys tomorrow after I visit the shop tonight!
Since you two already have rails I can talk to him about a reduced price without the rails!

What was the actual ambient temp on the day?
Did you look at the IAT?
From experience, I can tell you my Gen 2 Whipple picked up 10% power by adding 2 degrees spark. (17*-19*)
13.5 degrees sounds pretty soft for 10psi but I’m no expert on the Gen 3 engines capabilities.

Here’s how my first outing went.

2500 da at the track tonight

12.08 @ 118.55

11.88 @ 119.52

11.79 @ 119.74

11.75 @ 120.68

I’ll post timeslips later. 1.5 drive home. I’m tired. lol

Best 60ft (stock tires) was 1.80 on the 11.79 run. Also noticed a lot of rubber from the belt. Not sure how much boost I’m losing to belt slip yet. I need a crash course on setting up the weird SCT handheld. lol

Those times seem to match what I was able to do. Leads me to believe the tune Edelbrock provided is more conservative than the 620whp claim from the stage 1 kit.

I have not experienced any belt slip on my car so far.

I would get both your cars to a dynojet. Then you know and can hammer on Edelbrock to get you a better stage 1 tune. I bet you have only 9-11 degrees timing in it for safety. A few more degrees would make a big difference.

I would confirm the belt slip first. Edelbrock does not offer revamped tunes. It's a box deal. They do that so they can offer that great warranty. If you don't have belt slip and you want a more aggressive tune, you need to go aftermarket but you will lose the warranty through them if it matters.

93 octane tune loaded on mine now. I'll try to remember to update this thread as well. Boost logging equipment ordered so I can add that data to the mix. Dyno coming soon. While I hope it's putting down the 620 to the ground, I kinda hope it's not and there will be some extra in it to be easily found. Have you pulled your pill to get the boost to come in sooner? What about unplugging the advance trac under the hood?
