WTF 119 mph from a TVS 2650 A10 car? That would be terrible if you were at 9000' d/a. Do you have a way to datalog the car? Have you verified boost psi?

I would have someone look at the logs, something is not right with the tune most likely. 91 fuel not the best, but still you should be closer to 11.

I need things to slow down in life a bit so I can get to the track to see what mine traps. I'm super curious now.

118 seems like a low trap, especially out of a A10. I'd guess you should be 127-129mph.

I’m not sure who I can have look at the datalog...

My Boost gauge shows around 10 psi so it’s making boost.

I agree with everyone, my trap speed is way off and Edelbrock seems to think all the variables add up to the slow trap. I guess they don’t realize all the boosted cars run 3.15 gears with the A10.

Something is definitely wrong with the tune. If that pulley is spinning, even on 91 octane you are having A/F and/or timing issues based on your mph. Your car should be faster, I highly recommend talking to Jon Lund. (and moving to E85 ;) )

Going to e85 on our setup gets expensive. The stock injectors are about maxed out. I’ve been warned it’s about $4k to upgrade the fuel system to run e85 and the supercharger???

The datalog for 1 gear showed timing starting at 10 degrees and by the end of the pull it finally spiked to 13.5. I’m not sure if that’s normal for 91 or not.

I plan to run e85 in the future but for now, I’m stuck with the Edelbrock tune

I am not sure what the timing threshold is on 91 but last year when I ran 93 octane my Lund Tune/knock sensor would allow 17/18* on my full pulls @ 10psi (Whipple 3.0). I just looked at my 10.20@139mph log. You are correct, now that tuners are requiring full fuel systems for E85, it has driven that cost up. Perhaps others limited to 91 octane can share?

The difference between 91 and 93 is fairly minimal so I would expect timing to be very similar. That could make up a decent amount of power with the added timing. I did speak to someone who made 614whp on 91 with this setup and on the Edelbrock tune. 119 mph to me, doesn’t indicate 600whp

Agreed, your 119mph with our car's weights equals about 475 rwhp. I'm sure you are just a few keystrokes on a tuners computer away from another 100hp I'll bet.

Something is up...I would expect close to 130-135 traps in average weather.

Traction control fighting the car, knock or heat soak?

I live in Florida and have a Roush stage 1. It’s been about 92 to 95 degrees everyday here. I have access to 93 octane and was able to see around 14 to 16 degrees in 4th gear WOT pull manual car. (Depending on IAT2 temps.). After I started running boostane I consistently saw timing around 17 to 19 degrees with a noticeable power increase.

I would try boostane or another octane booster and see if this allows for more timing.

I am also a fan of Boostane when max pump gas timing is needed, I have personally used it and it definitely works!
