How easy would it be for owners with the old inlet to upgrade to the new inlet?

I saw that coming!

It is possible to convert 90mm inlet superchargers to the modular inlet. This is beneficial only if you upgrade to the 103mm throttle body and high flow intake system.

so they would need

- modular inlet
- 103mm TB plate
- 103mm TB
- 18+ stage 2 intake

The Stage 2 intake isn't just for 18+. This will fit all 2015+ Mustangs with modular inlet superchargers, if that isn't a hint for whats coming :)

Does the new inlet only work for the 2650 or also for the 2300?

The 2300 kits are not directly compatible with the new inlet. The input shaft lengths are different between 2300 and 2650.

The inlet on the 2300 is 90mm though. So the 90mm FRPP throttle body would bolt right on. Not the 103, but better than the stock one. Modular inlet would be nice, but I’m assuming by your response, unable to work. Unless of course EB has something else up their sleeve...

So will y'all be offering a upgrade kit for those of us with the old inlet?

They have said you can upgrade to the new modular inlet but you may need to DM them to get the parts, not sure it's something they offer in the catalog. It will involve some what disassembling the snout to swap to the larger inlet

Currently there is no "kit" part number to upgrade the inlet. However, if anyone is seriously considering this, we can provide the parts and price to upgrade.

Something makes me doubt I'll get an "official" response to this question, but would you recommend billet oil pump gears, chain sprocket, and an ATI damper installed along with this kit? I know opinions vary, and the OPG especially add some decent time and labor to the whole install, but since Ford's Aluminator crate engine (designed for boost) comes with billet TSS gears installed....

Edelbrock probably doesn't want to recommend it since others don't and it would seemingly put the Eddy kit at an overall cost disadvantage, but off the record, what are your thoughts?
