Mine are pretty similar max out around 24.5 then tapers down to 22ish after 5500. Was this a one time thing or do you consistently hit 27.3??27.33 !?!? Are you sure ?
What are your mods?
I keep 23.5 / 24.5 psi until 5500 rmp, than tapers down to 22 psi at 6500 mm
The factory charge tubing clamps are a known leak point and the factory BPV is a potential leak point, more so as boost is increased. If you're seeing boost spikes up to 27psig and you haven't made any hardware changes since your final tune revision, then either the load targets are set too high or the weather has changed (cooler) and/or a combo of the two.Are you guys that are hittn 24psi still running the factory bov and worm clamps still though? Cuz I was just talking to someone from youtube that didnt even know that the factory bpv doesnt hold boost and i forgot who it is but someone does a test where they prove that it doesnt hold boost on a tuned car...
If you are running 93 that's way too high for boost. It's even high for e30. Not sure about straight e85 though. I'd ask your tuner to review your logs as it could be over boosting which isn't good for a stock block on pump fuel.Did my first somewhat real 3rd Gear pull to 5500rpm and my Accessport said 27.33psi.
Just curious what other ecoboost owners are hittin, factory or modded/tuned....
I agree if that is stock no matter the octane you are running sub 100 octane that seems really high for the stock fuel system. While tuning my Precision we hit lean conditions just over 27PSI so we dialed it back to 24/24.5 now its 25.5+ on meth, but I regularly hit 27. What are your AFRs at that PSI?If you are running 93 that's way too high for boost. It's even high for e30. Not sure about straight e85 though.
