Ebay Front Grill with no Horse Emblem

Does it look/feel cheap compared to OE? Just thought it would be cool to have no horse emblem in front of my future ESS intercooler. lol.

Unless you’re strapped I wouldn’t do body parts unless they are good OEM taken off because of the vehicle being totaled.

That looks very similar to what I did. I ordered mine off eBay too but from a different seller. I'm sure they all come from the same factory in China. The plastic is surprisingly thick and the fitment is good. It took a while for me to open up the honeycombs on the drivers side for the Velossa Tech big mouth intake. The finish is matte not the gloss that is factory or is found in Bullitt replicas.

I wanted to keep the glossy grill so went with the mesh kit, Kinda nerve racking cutting up the OEM grille but I purchased a new take off and worked out fine. Easy install and fit is great.

Paint could work also, like the Mustang as it is. The car without it looks like every other shit box on the road.

I ditched it also with a $120 ebay grille from Advance Tuning. It feels very much like an OEM grille. Slightly less rigid because it is 2 pieces. So far it's fine. I have not had one person say yet that I should have kept the Pony. The grille is 10oz lighter and has more open holes for air flow. I wanted this as my twin turbos are going in next month.

I've had my bumper off for other reasons. I took advantage and removed the OEM lower grille and sprayed it with a few light passes of gloss clear. The match with the upper grille was much better.

I suppose one could do this for the ebay upper/lower grilles. Then the matte would be glossier, and the texture would match for both upper and lower. A glossy matte texture would also be less prone to cleaning swirls.

whats cool about the ebay one is the outer ring separates from the inner mesh.
i think it would look really nice to jusut paint the outer ring gloss black or maybe even silver or color matched while leaving the mesh matte.
