THANK YOU for posting SAE and not just STD because it makes you look cooler.

It's interesting to see the torque curve go from 350lb-ft to 500lb-ft by 4,500rpm, rather than most superchargers that deliver peak torque at 2,000rpm but choke up top. I guess that may be how the car puts down the power on the street and road course.
The 2650 is known to be a very stout performing supercharger

Fantastic review, thanks for putting it out there!

What does everyone think about the slow(ish) torque buildup on the GT500? Don't see big numbers until 3-3.5k, and max is around 4k. I was kinda expecting a near immediate spike, like 500 wtq @ 2.5k rpm
thats not what this car was designed to do. controllable usable power through the gears vs everything as fast as it can

Thanks for posting this up, great stuff. Not sure if this has been asked or gone over but what's your opinion on the build quality on your 500 jwhite?
To be totally honest, I have not totally eyeballed the car inch by inch. From what I can see fit and finish look very nice! No bumper sag, lines look good! I’ll be waxing it in the next couple days where I can really take a good look at things and I’ll update you

wash, clay bar it, then put Ceramic coating on it! Such an upgrade from wax. The police officer that stopped my last night commented on nice my 2013 300 SRT8 looks. It has 100K on it. Suggest Adams Polishes ceramic products. JP

The ceramic coating I know is far superior to waxing, but I’m just an old fashion wax guy. My garage is my fortress of solitude LOL I enjoy going out there grabbing a cold beer or 2 maybe 3, and spend a few hours on the car on a cold winter day.

The only problem with a ceramic coating is, it's almost impossible to remove. You have to let it WEAR off for many moons.

So, if you need/want to do paint correction, that's pretty much a no go as the stuff is harder than the compound.

JB: I'm with you, I like my self time in the garage with my vehicles and I do paint correction about every six months.

This is one concern I have with this car... the difference between "getting stopped" and "going to jail" is probably less than 1 second with your foot down.
