Honestly, I don't want to know. I bought the car with all the fixins' so it'd be a great cruising car. My philosophy is More Power. I'm slowly upgrading the suspension with the end goal of twin turbos.

Lighter rims do make a crazy difference though. My stock 8.5" weigh more than my 10" flow forged wheels, with tires. I can't imagine how light big boy fully forged wheels are by comparison.

I can't blame you for trying to add more power than prioritizing dropping weight brother; these cars are friggin porkers and dropping weight from them is very hard to do and quite costly.

And yeah, I can't wait to find out the difference the lighter rims are going to make on my GT. The Performance Pack wheels I got on there now weigh 33 pounds compared to the new rims I'm getting at 21.5 pounds.

I take mine to the local transfer station for the trash. they have you drive over a scale when you bring your trash in to know what to charge you. But once a month or so I will go there drive into the scale get out and go ask a dumb question like what are your hours? thenon way back to car glance at scale weight LOL.

So I watched a bunch of videos and basically people take this off and notice no difference and say well it does nothing? so then why take it off? There is a bunch of videos on how to take it off but next to none on the result. most say well it didn't change anything. the one guy who did a in cabin video says ahhh listen to how quiet... and all you can hear is engine. then in comment he admits he couldn't tell any difference with or without it. so why bother even taking it off? oh any why is it a pair of underwear when there is only one?

I removed the "Sound Tube" from my 2014 GT 5.0 in about 10 minutes.........THREE HOURS.......on the 2019.......GOOD LUCK!!

I think it just looks better without it, so I removed mine right after I brought the car home. You can also then remove the oil filler neck and screw the oil cap directly onto the valve cover opening.

I keep hearing that, but the neck on mine just doesn't want to move. The lower end flexes so much when I try that I'm afraid I'm going to crack something.
