Does this fit under the S550 hood? I was under the impression the BOSS manifold didn't ordinarily.

Also the Boss intake robs power from the redesigned 5.0 unless this is a redesigned boss intake

You will need adj motor mounts like the ones we make to fit this manifold under the stock hood.
So it has been confirmed that it works? I saw a thread on another board but it looks as though the owner gave up before we could confirm it.

Yeah, I don't think Ken got that far but regarding the other posters question about power, it definitely made more power than the stock '15 manifold but you will need to rev the motor higher, which is not a bad thing. For a street car, it may not be worth swapping, for a track car with aggressive gearing and someone behind the wheel that doesn't mind turning 7k+ RPM, it may be something to look into.

Garrett, that's a sick looking set-up, and the video is nasty. There's just something about the raw and violent hit that nitrous gives

What's the safe limit for a stock Coyote? I take mine up to 7200 almost daily with nothing besides a tune.

You definitely need mounts to drop the motor .75-1" for it to clear the stock hood. Most people say you can take this motor up to 7500+ in stock form...some go higher.

Anyone put this intake on yet? How is the fitment with motor mounts? Tuning might be another issue with removing IMRC.

You can get drop mounts from Steve over at UPR to run this manifold.

Thanks,
Garrett
