Went to the track today. Second pass broke a axle on the starting line. Have the dss 800hp axles installed for over a year now. Called dss this morning and they are replacing axle no questions asked. Very stand up company.

After the bolt fiasco they replaced my halfshafts to include shipping to Hawaii. Stand up company for sure.

Bolts were backing out of the shaft ends. It was a small run of their parts. Some coating got into the thread which did not allow the bolts to stay mechanically torqued.


The replaced my axles in full with shipping. Again, great company.

All will be fine. I haven't heard of any issues in the last year.

GForce axles > DSS. You shouldn't have been able to break those axles. I'm not sure if I've heard of a single broken GForce axle. Anyway, glad to hear the DSS keeps replacing their broken or faulty parts.

My DSS 800's have taken a beating and aside from being a little noisy (clunky) they are still running strong.

Went through 3 sets of Gforce axles in under 300 miles on my prior car.

Every company has their issues, but don't be naïve and state something like that, Gforce has had axle failures.

Until the 2000hp axle release by DSS, the heavier duty Gforce/Ford Racing axles were built much heavier duty than the 1400hp DSS axles, so you cannot compare them. I would be very interested to see how the new 2000 DSS ones hold up versus the heavy duty Gforce/Ford Racing axles, should be on par.

And just like anything else hp ratings mean squat with wheel hop and other things come into play. I don't care if you have 50,000hp rated axles, launched in a certain way they will snap like a toothpick too.

I'm think8ng about buying the 800hp axles. Can I ask how much power you're putting down?
