Might be worth speaking with MAP in Leeds/Bradford? Nice guys - I went to see them about my car and they know their onions. In the end I went with a steeda CAI which i fitted myself and a steeda tune, but they were my close 2nd choice. The steeda tune has done me proud FWIW. Just watch out as there are two versions of the CAI and their tune form doesn't entirely differentiate!

How do you like the tune? Did it change the sound of the car much?

It hasn't really changed the sound a ton, but I didnt entirely think it would. I already had a ford performance by Borla catback exhaust which helped with that from stock.

The tune itself is very good. I haven't had it dynod or anything but performance is good. As above I've got the steeda CAI and tune and I also bought a soler 90mm throttle body which I fitted around the same time. What I would say is that I think the extra bhp and torque is probably at the extremes of what the traction control of the car can handle when at full tilt. If I completely floor it from slow speed the TC kicks in and gear changes are very random and all over the place with it heavy revving then dropping. If I turn TC off it doesn't do this and in sports mode it does it less.

I do think the car sounds throatier overall but which bits are adding more of that I am not sure.

Cool, thanks. I'm probably going to go the Steeda route but I'm in discussion with a chap in the US who does a lot of Mustang tuning and is willing to have a go with mine too. He wants me to have a known CAI though and he doesn't like the K&N one I have. I'll grab the Steeda one.

Like I say I think MAP do remote tunes now too. :)

I'm going to give them a call next week actually to thank them for turning around a brake calliper order so quickly. I will discuss it with them.
