There's a very audible constant blow-off (phsssh) sound coming from the driver's side in the engine compartment that only occurs under full throttle. I'm inclined to believe it is a leak because on some occasions the idle rpms stay high around 1400-1500 like a vacuum leak, and there's an even louder suction sound but then return to normal after driving or "boosting" again. I thought it could be my UPR DVCC coming loose somewhere but all the connections appear secure. For that matter, I don't even know where the BOV or anything of the sort is located on the car.
So how should I go about determining the cause? All I know is that it's on the driver's side and nothing else. I know for sure it's nothing intercooler related, all of those connections are tight and secure as well. I can try and replicate the high idle scenario and try to listen for the suction sound, but that's all I've got before I take it to the dealer on Friday, as light and moderate driving is unaffected by this issue.
Many thanks.
