Nice! Mine is front heavy too, old school Centurion FSP rail...gonna get heavier when I put a SOCOM barrel in it one day.
That one has a BCM SS410 16" barrel. very similar. Geissele SSA trigger with a Young Mfg NM carrier.

Kinda crazy how things have changed in 10+ years. Things have gotten much lighter thankfully. Yet I don't plan to change that one anymore.

I've had 300blk build in the works for years. Have the lower all done with a Geissele SSA-E tigger.

I enjoy most shooting my converted Izhmash x39 AK. The AR is fun on the range, the AK is just so much more fun all the time. 😍

As someone who is trying to quit smoking and drinking...that looks like a great unwind time.

I can't wear my wedding band or any jewelry at work so I don't wear it at all during the week. I forget about half of the weekends too lol

I got VERY heavy into AKs at one time, I sent this Saiga off to be fully converted to an AKM clone as close as possible. Reshaped trigger guard, correct selector notches, no side rail, 45° gas block, etc, etc...

I wanted to build mine as an AKM clone too at the time. Later said "fuck it" and just threw more modern stuff on mine. All DIY so far.

Cheap, yet great, Tapco trigger. Ultimack rail. Bulgarian? lower hand guard. NATO length stock: I'm a big boy. Krebs safety lever and sights. Houge grip: big hands too. PA red dot: totally tacticool on my ~100yrd range use.

Have a few bakelite 30 rounders, lots of surp steel ones. I prefer using the 20rnd steel and polymer Magpul ones...tanker mags. I'm not going to war.

I love the 45° gas block and slant brake! Really the only two things I want someone else to finish.

Anyway, I bought the base sporter for $420 back in 2008. 20min in the store than out.

Looks great! $420...those were the days!

The 45° gas block will require the gas port to be welded and a new one drilled. I used Blackbush Armory...I can't remember where they're located off the top of my head...Oklahoma I think.

I was covered up in mags at one time...I also was collecting surplus mag pouches from different countries. I like the Hungarian ones best. I also had an AMD65 SBR so of course I was loaded up on tanker mags too.

I was actually getting bakes from a place in England and flipping them. Until they pissed me off one time lol...I can probably look them up and pass along some info if you want...

Bake uppers, bake grips...stuff is rising in price like everything else but it's beautiful stuff.

I Zenitco'd out an Arsenal 107FR factory triangle folder...that came out nice too for the tactical side of things.

That's an amazing collection of Combloc bakelight pieces!

I did flip several $10 bakelight mags for ~$50 a few years ago.

Last rifle looks great!

I always wanted to build a Drako SBR and register it. Things are so expensive now tho.

Dang! I wish I had gotten into it when bakelites were $10!!

My brother has a Draco he SBR'd years ago...he still has it. I sold all my AK stuff about a year ago to a friend of mine who is a gunshow flipper. He got a great deal but he also brought a lot of cash with him and it made it a one and done deal for me vs piecemealing everything out to several buyers. My SBR'd AMD65 was super cool too, I had to take it off the registry and pin and weld the brake back to 16"

Ever seen a Svetogor bake? They're windowed bakes by Svetogor Defence in Ukraine. Super cool and pretty hard to get
