Took the family(3 daughters, 2 son in laws & 2 grand children) to a hockey game tonight.
Tickets included food and booze. Lots of "Jack" on the rocks for me and my son in laws.
Girls were drinking "Titos" and some thing, on the rocks....Nothing fancy, just a fun time...
BTW, my beautiful bride (who doesn't drink), was driving...Cheers ! šŸ„ƒ

Gift from the wife. We wonā€™t be drinking it tonight but Iā€™m really looking forward to seeing how it turns out. We love this local bourbon maker. Iā€™m hoping I can use the mini barrel for a solara bottle after the batch is complete

This a weird one....

Baller Single Malt. California-made Japanese-Style Whiskey. All the notes of a Scotch but with a bright Umeboshi tone to boot. It's different.

I'm intrigued, lol. I love umeboshi but it's definitely not anything I want everyday. Umeboshi flavored liquor? I definitely want to try some...might could mix it with some real green tea? Half my brain says, "YES, YES, YES," and the other half says, "NO, NO, NO!" LMAO

For any bourbon guys, yes I bought two. Been looking for years and I finally found a few. Never gonna guess where I found them and no not Kentucky which I visit often as my wife's family is from there. I am horribly disappointed and prefer other bourbons over this, especially at $56 per bottle.

I did the same thing with 2 bottles or Four Roses. $80 bucks and didn't like it AT ALL.

Totally. My brain is still saying that. It may be the most unique whiskey Iā€™ve ever tried.
I bet it is, that would probably be the same for most people...It's not a flavor I would have EVER imagined. I'm still smiling as I type this so thank you for posting that pic!

That is such a shame. I know a lot of people like it but I just did not care for it or the Single Barrel at all. And I would've thought Elijah Craig was for me since I love oak flavor but it just seemed "cheap" and artifical.

I hardly drink anymore since I have an 8 month old now so I'll have a few Woodford Double oaks or whatever other tough to find things I have on hand like Blad n Bow or Joseph Magnus. Wait, I finished the Magnus in October with an uncle LOL

So here's something funny. This stuff is cheap, cheap. And pretty easy to find. I really like it

I've been mixing up some lemon juice, a little water, brown sugar and an egg white to make my own sour mix and hitting it with equal parts of Evan Williams and Jameson Orange. So good.

If you are looking for the "best bang for the buck" bourbon, try the Evan Williams bottled-in-bond. Great whiskey and only $20.

I don't care for that one but surprisingly the single barrel is amazing and consistent too! I'll have to try your receipe but with Woodford. Sounds like a party.

Did not try it but the Single Barrel is my favorite Evan Williams hands down.
