When you guys are making these runs is it creep up to 58ish mash the throttle or is full acceleration from very little speed?
I rolled into the throttle at about 45-50mph and by 60 I was at wot. 4th gear start. I’m sure at a track I’ll be faster since I’ll be in 3rd gear at 60.

We have the same setup - and you are correct and the 5.1 prediction- the 3.15's are a key difference IMHO. I actually believe my setup will run a 4.x 60-130 with better air. I hope to have one last trip to the track to find out weather permitting.

No doubt with better DA and maybe some weight reduction you’ll pull off a 4.xx

I did it in 5.15, mt82 car here was about 18 psi of boost at that point. im 6r80 swapping the car and going twin turbo so we will see what about 1200 wheel does 60-130.

Yeah I just pulled it up it was 5.14. 4k da and uphill lol. Before I took the blower off I had bumped it up to 22 psi too, I should have tried a draggy hit. Mid low 4s is guess.

Very solid at that DA...AT 18 psi you are making some jam. I haven't decided if I am going to up the boost (I'm at 15.5 psi on a Gen 5 Whipple) - as I believe I can run in the fours at this level - and I have far better air than you. That is enough for me. If I am going bigger boost - I think I will just build the car. I have a solid guess at what you will run at 1200 whp on a turbo setup - I would say mid 3's to at least a high 3. I had a similar power to weight setup and was running in that neighborhood. At 1600+ the setup runs low 3's/high 2's. Good luck!

I do think the 4's are solid...and the car remains fairly happy. That said - it is always fun going full tilt - but I have done that before and I am good just to keep the build there...for now anyway lol. Good luck with your build!

Start as low of MPH as you can get full traction at. The point is to have full traction and full throttle during the entire 60-130 pull. If you have a 10r80 warm the tires up, paddle down to 3rd with the shifter in S and go to about 40 mph, roll into full throttle and be full throttle by about 55 mph then push shifter into D and keep full throttle until 130+.

I had one pass on my draggy this weekend. It was 5.88, but I estimate my car weighs a good 4,150# with me in it. I'm 330# naked, so with clothes, helmet, FR jacket, about 350#. I figure 3,800# for the car.

As I still struggle with my trans - I was very happy with my pump gas 60-130 - a 6.28. I trapped 139.7 MPH on this run...

Damn you guys and your A10s! That tranny is no joke and I can't believe how well it puts power down! I'm running high 8s at 6lbs of boost through the m6. Granted, I've never ran on a prepped track, just Mexico runs but that A10 is impressive. Good thing I like rowing gears enough to not get frosty over how much faster you auto guys are!

You can be fast in a manual too, just gotta make the powa 😉

Car has seen more boost than this as well. No dragy times but it runs with 3.9-4.1 cars

Those are impressive times while rowing gears! I'd love to give in and go boost crazy but I put 20k+ miles on my car each year so I'm trying to resist the urge and keep it reasonable. How much boost are you running to hit those numbers?

Peak of 19 psi in 3rd gear which it held until 130 (I stretch 3rd out instead of shifting into 4th. I usually shift around 120 mph). Still a stock gen 2 motor with 50k miles
