Like it says I have a 2018GT PP1 with the MT82 and 3.73 gears. The car has the Airlift 3p setup with their adjustable shocks/struts. Rear suspension also has the BMR CB005 and CB762 kits. Engine is all stock right now but want to have a setup I can grow into when I go forced induction. I drive the car about 1,500 miles a year just as a toy. Zero roll racing, zero street racing so a drag setup to run on the street to add some traction is nice but not a must. I have a CDL for work and losing my license isn't an option so I want to make the most out of my track days. The stock tire size is a 275/40/19 and they obviously clear fine when aired out. I basically have 2 options:

1) stay on my stock wheel and go with a 19 drag radial like the Nitto 555r2 or possibly a Toyo R888R problem is most of these tires only come in a 305 (Toyo offers a 275) wide. Can it clear when aired out and will they hook over the long term.

2) Bite the bullet and spend a few extra bucks for VMS 17" wheels and go with a set of Hoosier slicks or quick time pros. Problem here is what is the best tire size I can go with for my setup, but also clear when aired out.? I was looking at these:

Really wished they offered the quicktime pro in a 28/10.5/17 but they don't. Is a 28 to much rollout??? I don't know really need some advice from the S550 gods. I'm leaning towards option 2 but really need the right setup that will clear with my bags.
