I've never seen someone so invested in hating another vehicle. It's as if he thinks his 401k will tank and someone will murder his family if the GT500 succeeds in any way. Bizarre really. He has GT500 derangement syndrome.

I think what bothered most on this site was the whole "$59,995 is gonna blow your new GT500 outta the water, better cancel your order" comments.....nobodies ever been concerned about the alphabet soup Camaros.....the chance of ever seeing one is slim to none anyway and their just not gonna get the job done.....now we find out the C8 is really about 80k and still won't get it done at the dragstrip and is realistically 5 seconds slower on a track than the base GT500 and a full 10-12 seconds slower than the CFTP....in a nutshell.

I get it. I decided one was not for me. As soon as I tried to climb inside of one. Combo of me being to big. And Vettes being to cramped. A Vette is a bucket list car though if your into American performance.

The 2018 ZLE is quoted with the manual. There was no auto in 2018

That was fun to watch and if I owned a GT500 i couldn't help but smile and feel like I made the right decision in purchasing one. My other thought was how cool is it that there are three unbelievable American branded automobiles fighting it out for bragging rights. And that doesn't include the Corvette. I was too young to buy a car during the original muscle car wars. I never thought I'd see what I am seeing today. Be thankful we have this.
