I haven't had any issues in the rain with VT Big Mouth and I didn't see any signs of water spots when I had the filter housing open. The filter housing has a drain hole on the bottom so water that does get in there should drain right out.

Hello! Water won't hurt you if you run our kit, we did extensive rain testing, the filter element is downstream of the big mouth. :)

    Livernois Motorsports Tune Revision #4

The Livernois MyCalibrator Tuner had five tunes loaded from my last request - stock, 91, 91_e85 flex fuel, 93, and 93_e85 flex fuel, (all Version 11). I’ve been trying out these tunes since March 6th, 2018. Livernois states if you are running primarily 91 or 93 the car will run better on those tunes, (instead the of the flex fuel tune). Since we rarely have the opportunity to run the 93_e85 tune, I’m dropping that one and Livernois provided the following – stock, 91, 91_e85, 91 plus sport throttle, 93 plus sport throttle. I missed the enhanced throttle response of the sport throttle tunes, so I’m getting a couple of those back.

The updates worked out great, no install codes, lights, or errors. Thanks to Anthony @Livernois Motorsports for a quick reply and a job well done!

Quick question, Is that rear seat delete from CM Components finished with carpet on both sides (including the trunk side)? I've asked others that before but I never got a concrete answer for some reason.

Hi Patrick, it's really more of a thick felt material placed on the front side only. The seat delete material is cut from smooth black plastic. I plan to use self-adhesive closed cell foam to help block road noise coming from the trunk if needed. The foam purchase from an eBay seller didn't come in, so I'll need to re-order.

You can also purchase the seat delete with different designs and logos.

Rear Seat Delete – Latches and Pony Projection Lamp Mount

The quick release latches for the rear seat delete came in today. After removing the pre-installed grommets and drilling a 3/4'’ hole they fit great.
    IMG_4470 E 800.JPG

The courtesy/lamp housing is held in position by two tabs. Work your fingers under both sides of the housing and gently wiggle and pull it off.
    IMG_4463 800.JPG
    IMG_4466 800.JPG

Tap the wires on one of the courtesy/map lights.
    IMG_4472 800.JPG

Drill a 3/16” hole off center towards the driver’s side (if using the right-side projection lamp). Use a washer and nut on each side of the all thread and attach it to the housing.

    20180921_175609 E 800.jpg

Now that I’m sure of the placement, I’ll cut 3/4” off of the all thread and put black covering over the wires. The pony light works the same as the puddle lamps when the door is opened, or it can be turned on/off with the map light button. Looking through the windshield at night, the lit-up pony looks awesome.

Would putting the puddle lamp into the rear of the center console work or is that too close?

Yes, it will work with an adjustable mount or one fabricated at an angle. The puddle lamp in the mirror is 37 ¼” high, the light hits the ground at 10” back from the lamp, and the pony is 20” wide.
    IMG_4481 E 900.JPG

The distance from my dome light bracket and the rear seat delete ended up a distance of 48” and the pony measures about 22.5” wide.

The distance from the rear of the center console to the middle of the pony on the seat delete is 31”. After placing some cardboard on blocks at 31’ from the mirror, the pony measurement is 16.5” wide.

    Hope that helps. :like:

it does indeed. if I do this that will be my mounting location. I'm not good at fabricating parts so will take some time to figure out how I'd mount it.

Thanks @Vegas5OH! I would like to have a few of the parts listed in your signature. :like:

Young kids like to look at my Ram Air light kit and the puddle lamps on the car. That puts a big smile on my face.

    Lloyd’s Trunk Mat Review

Here’s the link to CJ pony parts - https://www.cjponyparts.com/lloyd-m...ogo-with-shaker-subwoofer-2015-2019/p/TRM245/

The trunk mat is well made and the fitment is great. The mat doesn’t feel heavy, but the scale shows that it weighs 5.250 pounds.

Features and Benefits as listed by CJPP:
    - Made from 20 oz. Black Polypropylene Yarn
    - Trunk Mat Material is Stain, Fade, and Soil Resistant
    - Ebony Color Matches the Interior Perfectly
    - TractionBac Mat Backing is Waterproof and Slip Resistant
    - Easy to Install and Remove for Cleaning
    - Trunk Mat Features a Large Pony Logo

The American Muscle Website has 100+ reviews on the Lloyd trunk mat with an average rating of 4.9 stars out of 5. https://www.americanmuscle.com/black-pony-trunk-mat-2015.html

The duel color and highlights of the running pony doesn’t represent well with my camera, so I borrowed a pic from AM.

The mat is in my car trunk for now. When my wife sees the credit card statement and realizes I only purchased one, it may end up in her car.

Better get ready to order another one - LOL. I've got the same mat in my GT (except with the "GT" logo), along with the matching floor mats (with the Pony). They are pretty nice. Lloyd Trunk Mat (2).jpg Lloyd Driver Mat.jpg

It's the first Loyd product that I've owned and I'm impressed. I'm going to lose the mat to my wife in the next few days as a peace offering, (before she finds out that I ordered more parts today).

What kind of damage did you do? I ended up going for the quad tips and the Noico, not sure when I'll actually tackle either but figured I'd jump with the coupon!

    Nice @Nagare!

I'm really liking the quad tips. If you apply the Noico to the quarter panels please post up a review and pics. I purchased front and rear rotors, an OBDII Elm327 code reader, and a set of running pony valve stem caps. So, I have about five days to come up with an explanation for my wife concerning how I accidently hit the "buy it now button" (three times).

Thanks for the tip on the coupon! :like:

What I did is blame it on some disease that causes hand tremors. I also registered a bogus research foundation for said disease that my wife agreed we should give regular donations to in the hopes they find a cure for me. Of course, said donations go towards other mods.

Different Style Puddle Lamp / Rear Seat Delete

The inexpensive eBay Ghost Shadow Light Welcome Lamp Logo Laser Projector Car LED Door Lights arrived in the mail. This set of lamps project the Ford oval inside of a larger circle. It was my intention to install the lamp housing in the rear of the center console, giving me a choice to use either the running pony or the Ford oval.
    IMG_4526 E 900.JPG

At a distance of 13.5 inches from the ground the diameter of the circle is 19 inches.
    IMG_4517 E 900.JPG

At a distance of 18” from the ground the diameter of the circle is 24”.
    IMG_4520 E 900.JPG

The distance from the rear of the center console to the middle of the seat delete is 31 inches. At that distance the diameter of the circle is 42 inches, and the color is washed out.
    IMG_4521 E 900.JPG

This style of puddle lamp would work well for its intended placement on the bottom of the door.

    Puddle Lamp Removal and Replacement

The rear seat delete dress up options has ended and I'm sticking with the OEM puddle lamp. The replacement lamp for the passenger side mirror has been installed and it's an easy task to remove and replace the lamp.

Use a flat head screwdriver placed underneath the mirror and housing to push in on the tab clip. The lamp will pull out of the housing bottom without having to do any disassembly.
