Don't be lonely; There's a meet a week in the south

Just in case anyone is feeling lonely, or a newbie, there is at least one meet a week in the south from now through to the autumn. These are just the ones I'm immediately aware of. There are plenty more, as well as one offs, Goodwood etc.

1st Saturday – Black Horse pub, A24, Findon, West Sussex BN14 0SX – 10.30am

1st Sunday – Cams Mill South Coast Muzzers – 10.30am

2nd Sunday – Port Solent Car Meet – 10am

3rd Saturday – Berkshire meet – 11am – Craven Arms, Skinners Green Lane, Enborne, Newbury. RG20 0HG

3rd Sunday April to October– Solent Renegades Southsea Cruise – 6.30 for 7pm (except 1st and last which are 2 hrs earlier) – These are brilliant fun.

Last Sunday of the month - Port Solent Car Meet – 10am

Sunday 3rd June – cruise to South Coast Muzzers (Fareham) – HINDHEAD TUNNEL – Meet at Fairmile at 9.00am (about an hour to Fareham)

I think the Findon one is American but it comes up on MOCGB and Solent Rengades so not sure. There is another one (American) in Alton but I don't have details.

There is also a breakfast meet in Alton every 3rd (?) Sunday of the month. That's a anything goes pistonheads one

Classics on the Quay, Shamrock Quay in Southampton tend to be once a month on Sat or Sunday, dates can be a bit erratic, check their Facebork or twitter feed for up and coming. next ones I believe are this Sunday (12th) and the 1st April.

No South West meets as far as I know. Perhaps we need to set one up? I'm in Devon & had our car since May 2016- only seen two on the road in Devon since then. Must be loads out there as my dealer in Exeter had sold a few.

I would be up for that, had my car since Sept 2016 and hardly used it. Once the weather is more settled we should choose a venue and gauge interest. Bristol have sold a few Mustangs but haven't seen many on this forum although I've seen about 3 in Weston over the last few months.

I think there may be more than you think, and don't underestimate how far Mustang owners are prepared to drive for a meet #anyexcuse

There are some great locations down your way, just pick an early sunday morning and go for it. Cheddar, Weston sea front etc. I had a feeling one new owner in Somerset has a pub, or that might be wishful thinking. If you don't go too far west then I'm sure some will drive from other regions. If there's a lack of general meets than advertising it on the MOCGB, Mustang Forum UK, Pistonheads and on here should pull in plenty of interest.

Thanks; I had in my mind that it was just classics but it seems to be all Classics 1990 older, Supercars, American, Motorbikes and Scooters. We probably have to be reasonably respectful that if 20 S550s turn up that may cheese off some traditionalists, but anyway, I'll stick it on the list.

I've just sent a request to join Simply Mustangs UK on Facebook. We will see if we can arrange something in the Sourh West as well when Spring comes. I am happy to meet anywhere in the South West.
