Mine didn't start until the 2nd oil change. I use just 100ml of Liquimoly Ceratec (1/3 of the bottle) and its gone until the next oil change.

Yep. I run it. But funny enough in all my years I have never heard of a synthetic motor oil destroying or saving an engine. It’s almost as if it doesn’t matter….

Cheap oil almost never makes it to when the OLM says 'change oil soon'. On some tests I've seen on Bob the oil guy site, done by 55%.

Since every oil can cause the tick, the only conclusion is that you shouldn't use ANY oil. It's the only way to be sure.
