Does your State still have an active 1/4 mile strip?

Here in NJ, we lost Englishtown (aka: Old Bridge Raceway Park) in 2018; the strip was shut down and turned into an auto auction storage lot:

NMRA and NMCA events run at quarter mile tracks! However most of the tracks scheduled for the 2021 season are up and down the I-75 corridor.
Also Bristol TN is a 1/4 mile.

I am about a hour from Lebanon Valley as well. Went once with my old GT500 on a "test and tune" Saturday but it was so busy I only got 3 runs in all day. From what I gather that is normal. Fun, but not worth the standing around.

Yeah, I've had the same thing happen to me. Best to find a private event that is looking for people to round off their numbers, I did that with my Lincoln by joining up with a Mustang crew. Got 14 runs in that day, perfect way to 'tune' my ride after head swap. Street night (Wednesday nights) is worse, you might get only one run in unless you show up way early to be at front of line when it starts. I did this once and was 3rd in line. Made my run and got waved off the track, one of my brake lines got a pin hole leak in it and coated the finish line....oops, sorry about that to everyone that waited an hour for them to clean it up.

No active drag strips left in Utah. Sometimes an airfield runs events though. Closest ones are Firebird in Boise, ID, and Las Vegas Speedway.

In my home state of Florida there are three 1/4 mile drag strips:

1) Orlando Speedworld Dragway

2) Bradenton Motorsports Park

3) Palm Beach international raceway


Track #1 is my favorite because it is closest to me and it has the best track prep out of all of them consistently.

Where I am now there are mostly 1/8 mile tracks. When I was living in Florida I had Bradenton and immokalee close by me. Solteka: I used to hear that Orlando speedway was also know as Orlando spin world due to the lack or prep
