Does anyone have a pic of the Mach 1 “twister orange” calipers on an “orange fury” mustang?

I found someone selling a kit of Mach one Brembo’s and I was curious how far off it would look if I put it on my orange fury Mustang. I would love the colors to match, but didn’t know how far off they were. It’d be nice if someone actually has the set up to be able to see before spending the thousand dollars.

Twister is a darker orange than Orange Fury. I think it could look good, even though it won’t be an exact match

If you are talking about the ones on the Fighter Jet Grey, here is a close up of mine when I was ceramic coating them a while back. They are more yellow to me... But I am color blind

... I think if I went with them, people would think I “tried” to match the color but failed.

I think the darker Twister orange will be noticed by you and others as a mismatch for your OF car.

You might consider ordering orange brembo stickers off eBay. That still wouldn't be an exact match, but then it is a smaller area than the entire caliper.

I have OF car with cobalt metallic blue dual stripes. I considered painting my calipers to match the stripes and I bought cans of spray paint for the project. Ultimately I retrofitted my car with GT350 brakes for better track performance. Those are the OEM dual gray/bronze color which is a good thing (to me) since that is about the same color as brake dust. If I repainted them to be more attractive then I would need additional effort to get them really clean after a track day. And cleaning my car to be approx cars & coffee clean is trouble enough.

OP, if you read this far, then you could consider what is the alternate, or accent, color of your car and paint your calipers to be that. For example, if you have the performance package with gloss black grille, or have gloss black wheels, then you could paint your calipers gloss black. Other "car people" would notice your calipers and nod approvingly.

Finally, consider PowerStop Z23 or Z26 brake pads to eliminate the dust. That will help keep your wheels and calipers clean between routine washes.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I think the matching orange would be best but definitely not the “mismatched”. My car is a convertible with the black accent package so I could go black but thought it would be nice for them to stand out.

In that case for your particular situation I would either go gloss black or find a path to get a pretty good match with OF.
Looks like I got some research to do and decide on! I could probably find someone with some black brembos they are selling pretty easily.

You can also buy gloss black VHT "engine" paint and paint them while they are on the car. Requires quite a bit of masking, but then you don't have to deal with breaking into the brake fluid system. You really don't have to worry about painting the backside of the calipers because they simply aren't visible back there.

OTOH if you happened to also do a full brake fluid flush & bleed, then you may as well paint them all the way around.

That’s what I’m back-and-forth with. I recently got the car and it has the basic brake package. I was thinking about painting the basic calipers, but I noticed there’s a little bit of shimmy when I use the brake so I’m sure there’s some warping on the rotors. So I’ve been trying to weigh my options of just upgrading to the performance package larger rotors and calipers. So pretty much… A simple project is turning into an entire overhaul.😅 I’m also pretty doubtful there is an orange color out there that is readily available that will match that unique orange if I just do the cheapest option of painting the OEM.

Yeah, I get the thought that you are putting into this.
If it was me, and my car was a DD only, and most comments about it come from the "man on the street", then I wouldn't even put brembo front brakes on it. I would actually paint my 4-pot front calipers and rear calipers gloss black, and then put on some white brembo stickers from eBay. Only another Mustang guy might roll his eyes, but personally I would just smile at the result!
