Does anybody have experience taking a car with factory vinyl hood stripes through a touch less car wash?

Hey all. The weather is going to be bad here and the car hasn’t been washed in months due to the temperatures. Since it’s probably going to sit for at least a month, I was thinking of taking it to the touchiness car wash down the street.
Would the more caustic soaps or water jets they use cause any issues long term with the vinyl stripes?

Only drive through washes I would use. The soaps at carwashes might be bright and colorful but they are definitely not strong. That would cost more money haha

Never an issue using a high quality soft cloth wash with lots of suds.

Mine are Big Worm. But they are equal to factory vinyl.

That being said, my Mustang doesn't do car washes.

A proper Ceramic Coating will really protect them. And won't be stripped after the first harsh wash like wax.
