Does a 265 tire fit on the front PP wheel, and can you run it?

Curious if anybody has put a 265 up front on the performance pack wheels and stock ride height, and if it clears everything. Looking in there, it just doesn't look like there is too much extra room, but I'm not expert on exactly what is needed clearance wise.

I'd like to run a 265 up front just to get a bit more sidewall height. I'd like it to get closer to the look of the rear tire sidewall height which just looks better, IMO

Anybody have an idea if this has been done?

I know the tire will fit the wheel. I'm more curious about clearance on the inside by the suspension components.

You are only going up a little bit. A 265 will fit on the 9” rim no problem and I don’t think you’ll have any clearance issues especially stock.

I'm running a 285/35/19 up front and a 305/35/19 in the rear with a 1in drop on a 16 PP GT with no clearance issues at all.

a 265/40? Should be fine. Its only marginally wider/taller and the stock wheels and a good amount of clearance to spare.

I've run a 285/35 on a stock PP 9" front wheel (with a 5mm spacer), I think you'll be fine :)

On the stock wheels?
No but you said you weren’t concerned with the tire fitting you wheel. Just letting you know our cars are very similar and I’m running 20mm wider in the front

you will be fine and go larger if you like on my 15 PP1 I fit 265/35/20 tires no problem. I also ran and sold the car with 275 /40 /19 setup on all four stock pp1 wheels.

on my 19 pp2 I currently have 275/35/20 all around on aftermarket wheels /nitto tires and they fit like a glove ..no rubbing when cornerning/turning, etc.

Each car has stock height And you will have plenty of room.

Using the typical manufacturer size recommendations, you can run up to a 275 F & 285 R. It should fit stock or mildly lowered, but the front is a bit tight. A larger than average 275 might need a 5mm spacer.
