Thanks for kind words. It's a Motorola Edge. Good in the daytime, lacking at night.

My s21+ is the same way. Excellent during the day, nasty at night. My wife has a $700 mirrorless and its not as good as my phone

I am guilty of that brain fart....curb was on my right and I turned too soon after pulling out of the parking space.

My policy is to ALWAYS park on the end. That way I don't have to worry about brain farts by someone on at least one side of me sideswiping me with something much taller than a curb or opening a door into me. And not just any end but an end most likely to have a passenger door next to me.

iPhones and some Google Pixel phones along with the top of the line Samsung phones are the only cell phones that take decent pics at night.

Oh yea didn't realize this. Anyway from what I gather the Google Pixel phones and iPhones are where the extraordinary cameras are at.
