I ride static on a Eibach Sportline Pro kit and have for 5 years. Did the same for 16 years prior in a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT (still Eibachs). Coming from a lowered suspension and moving to buying my GT new, the suspension felt so floaty on the test drive I almost hated it. Grew so used to the lowered stance and feel it became a part of my driving experience. Now my idiot ass is 40 and I would not have my ride any other way.
Had a younger co-worker think I cut my springs for months due to the ride height. I told him I wanted to slap him to think I would do that at my age. But it got me thinking, any of you have any reactions from family members or friends due to your ride height? All stemming from people who are not in to cars and do not 'understand' it.
Also hit me when I saw this picture of my ride height compared to a stock STI and I am probably twice the age of the dude in the WRX. lol
