Pin stripes, VIN etching, and nitrogen? Totaling almost $900, not to mention the $500 tint.
Do people actually fall for this shit and pay for it?
ADM of $15k for a non R too.
There's one born every minute I guess.

Sadly yes they do. They also provide their SS number to get a million dollar check from a guy in Nigeria because it said so in an email.

I suspect this one will sit quite a while with that insanity.

Hey, Iā€™ve been there. I walked in the door in 2016 to see a black ā€˜R at 30k ADM. The guy told me it was 700 horsepower - like the stereotypes. I didnā€™t pay it much mind, found a GT350 in Oxford white nearby later at another dealer.

When I bought my f150, I got it swapped in from San Antonio, and it had tint and nitrogen. The dealer didnā€™t seem to think it was a big deal to swap, so minor it never mattered and Iā€™m sure the Austin dealer didnā€™t give up anything which means the SA dealer had to eat them. Bad investment.

I guess weā€™ll settle for interweb shaming to a tame and sympathetic audience.

If anyone wants to pay a little more, they could go with the price on the Automax site:

A sucker is born every minute, so not terribly surprised. Also, $15k ADM for a non R is absurd.

I am in the hunt and I have had a lot of dealers still trying to get away w high ADMs. When I told one salesman what the market is doing in regard to ADMs he said thatā€™s fine he will sell it to a pro basketball player or someone similar. If I was Ford motor company I would want to know how these dealers are treating potential customers. I guess they donā€™t care. I am all for capitalism but wow - if I was looking for repeat business this is not a way to go about it

Same. I'm actually starting to debate that Orange 350 @ Chapman. I'm not really big on Orange, if it was Yellow I'd have grabbed it up, but it's just a really good deal.

yeah i am seeing OF and LFG 18s slapped with ADM as the dealers seem to think the one year run of colors can get it. so this one seems off to me.

For a non-R ? I've been to few dealers around Cinci in November, all of them had '18 non-Rs and every single one of them was willing to sell for MSRP or less.
Only complete idiot would pay ADM on a non-R right now.

Just had a call with a Dealer in Texas that wants $30K ADM on an R. When I asked him if he would actually sell a customer a car at $30k over MRSP when ADMs are much lower and actually think that customer would want to do business with them again when he found out ADMs are much lower - he said Yes Sir!
