Disclaimer: If you can't change your oil then you will not be able to do this.
So for anyone who wants to install the Steeda billet shock mount this is what you will need to do to make it work
First of all buy the 10mm kit. I don't know what size the non-magneride GT 350s read but on the magneride equipped cars and needs an 11 mm nut. This is an oddball size and was very hard to find.
You will start by disconnecting the electric plug and de-pining it. This is done by removing the purple retainer clip out of the plug with small pliers and then pressing on the metal pin tabs and carefully pulling on each wire one at a time.
After that you can use a 17 mm wrench to remove the shock mount nut.
First modification to the Steeda kit will be drilling out the 10 mm nut. I recommend using a 3/8 drillbit to remove the threads. Next you'll have to tap the nut with a M11x1.0 tap.
Next you will need to drill out the yellow washer with a 7/16 drillbit. This is critical if you use a too large of a drillbit the washer will not work
And finally place the washer over the shock then place the billet shock mount over the threads and then thread the new M 11 nut and tighten.
The reason for me doing this is that my oem shock mount was making noise, since these are spherical they will not bind. Also I haven't noticed any nvh with this kit.
