OK, the question was how do you turn the 3 bar lights off.

Thanks for the answer. I consider them DRL's also, since they are on all the time. But at least we can turn off the headlights, unlike other brands.
No, the question was "Is there anyway to have all the DRLS and lights off while your just parked ?" I'm just trying to help, so call them whatever you want, but the fact many refer to the tribar lights as drls seems to be the cause of confusion. Many of the replies have correct information for turning off the drls, including the op's last post. I am just trying, many times, to get across the point that they are not drls (as far a Ford defines them) so none of those methods will work.

Also, what is the reason you want them off? As @StangTime posted in the other thread, if your looking to use the radio with no lights on you can just push the power button in the center stack.

See post 4 and post 6. If you had read the thread you would know which lights he was talking about.

I did read the thread, and everyone keeps posting ways to turn off the DRLs. The op literal just posted
So I tried the daytime lights off in the settings and it didn’t do anything ?
My apologizes for trying to provided helpful information.

P.S. see post #20 and 21.

I'd like them off with the engine running.

Why doesn't matter.
It could matter because there is a way of turning on the center screen/radio without having them on.

Can you not read? I want them off with the engine RUNNING. I never said anything about a radio.

Now don't go away mad, just go away.

Reply, he's talking about the tri-bars, not the DRLs.

WTF do they have separate DRLs with the Tri-bars? Are the Tri-bars not bright enough to be considered DRLs?
Good question. In Europe the tri-bars are the DRLs, so apparently they are bright enough.

Do you not understand the flow of time. You said that after I asked why.

Really? That's interesting, especially since they are not legally required here. Are they there?

Yes, they are legally required here. Actually, you aren't required to have them (that is, you may remove them if you wish and just use the headlights when required), but all new cars made after a certain year (I believe 2014 or thereabouts) must have them.
The Euro-spec 2015-2017 was strange in this respect. It didn't have the tri-bars at all (well, it had, but they never lit up, they were completely dead), while DRLs were implemented by means of some sorry halogen bulbs in the fog lamps. It looked absolutely hideous. That's the main reason I didn't buy a Mustang back then.
In the 2018+ the tri-bars are DRLs. They are always on with the engine running or on accessory power as long as no other lights are on. They turn off when the sidelights or headlights are on.

I just googled it and Canada does require them but that still doesn't explain why they are separate from the tribar lights. Interestingly it seems Canada also doesn't require you to use them, just that the car has them.

See post 16 and 17.
Key off, yes.
So "key off, yes.", means engine on?
Oh good call @K4fxd.

For "Lights off while parked" I'm thinking of the numerous times I've drained the battery while tinkering in the driveway.

@Jnaszty559 if you're talking while engine on, I'm no help.
Drained battery, seems like the engine might not be running. Next line is not even in response to you.

All I was trying to do is explain anything having to do with turning off the DRLs will not turn off the tribar lights. Seriously, what is your problem?
