The Diode Dynamics LCD side markers connector did not fit the 22" MACH 1 (round & square).

It fits if you remove the black bulb holder from the harness. Tight fit on that harness Ford!! I do like mine, got the smoked since it blends in well with the graphic.

Weird. I didnt have to do a thing on my ‘22 M1 to install these. Took 2 minutes per side.

Honestly i dont know. I pretty much did the job as fast as possible. Though i think it was square

Understand. As you said, it only took a min to install on my 2015 GT seven years ago. But I'm not sure about the new 2022 MACH 1. I will call Diode Dynamics tomorrow. I hope they just sent me the wrong model item.

Pull the black, round connector out of the socket and snap it together. Done.

As @TRDFurgesson and @AMC401V8 already mentioned, it looks like you have pulled the car side connector with its black counterpart (not sure why or how is it possible). You need to remove it to fit the new counterpart from the new light.

They didn't - there's only one connector. Like @TRDFurgesson said, you gotta jerk and pull on the round (bulb) connector to get it to come out and then they just slide together.

Had my stock side marker handy (2021). I don't remember any problem installing these lights. Like everyone else it was a very simple and quick installation.

Thank you for all your advice, guys. Finally, I got my right-side marker fixed. *see photos

I pull the left-side light bulb adapter (black) in two seconds and complete installation in less than a min.

But I got a problem when I pulled the right-side light bulb adapter (black); I broke the hook inside the connector on the car side so that both connectors won't stay together. I need to go to Ford Parts Dept. to buy the new connector replacement.
