Hi, couldn't find any information about spoiler in new GT500, anyone know or can measure it? Especially I am interested in side wing dimensions and mounting point (that "L" shaped element placed directly on trunk lid).

I thought it was the same as the GT4 wing

I like to disassemble things.
The body of the wing is very similar to what Multimatic manufactures for the GT4 cars. The plates at the ends are different between the two as well.

Any thoughts of being able to add this wing to a base gt500?

Tom: It would seem you are correct as the new car's wing looks much more like the GT40 wing than the one on the Ford GT which apparently, as Epiphany mentioned, Multimatic is the OEM I guess.

I plan on adding it to mine. I will probably purchase a new trunk lid and store the other if I ever want to change it back. I think Anderson Composites said they will be making a replica.

Multimatic manufactures both the GT and the GT4 Mustang as many very well know. This includes the wings for each. It is my understanding that Multimatic did not get the contract for the GT500 wing however.

Interesting...I wonder if Ford just went with the lowest bidder? In any event, the wings I've seen in photos look mighty nice.

I read a comment somewhere (can't find it now) that APR Performance makes the wing for Ford.

I put together a couple side by sides to show the difference between the production GT500 wing and the GT4 wing. End plates are different as are the supports (and as result, elevation)...

E: That's a better group of photos for comparison than mine, well done. 10-4 on the differences you mentioned but as yet, no one knows what the airfoil chords look like on each. I tried to find that info on the Web and failed.

I can't share dimensions with you but most anyone will be able to take them from a CFTP car soon enough.

Here's a left side top end view...

A skewed left side top profile...

Note that the above depicts a "general" GT4 end plate profile.

Not quite accurate. APR supplies the wing for the FP350S which is literally the consumer available GT-250.
