You realize that the speedometer is not angled towards the driver right...? So you're looking at the speedometer from a lower point of view, aka the needle looks to be higher than it is. You have to lift your head to the right to look at the speedometer straight on.

It's just the angle your looking at it.pretty simple to figure out.

I have noticed the angle thing too. I found myself getting passed by people constantly when driving around town doing what I thought was 35, but was really like 31-32. I wish you could angle the gauges down like in a 370Z.

Nah, it wasn't that. I took a picture of it and now I am looking at the picture, what happened was I thought the line before 40 was 35 (and digital one was showing 30), now I see that is not the case. I was just too tired today:(
