I will be going to the body shop on Monday to see if they can fix it without a repaint.

They will take it down, blend then re-clear. You won't be able to tell... But yes, that is a defect. Probably contamination or fish eyes.

Stop wiping at it... Leave it alone, don't touch it.

Then someone at the plant or dealer knows about it, because there's already sand marks on it. That'll definately be a repaint and blend.

That sucks........I hope they fix it for you.

On another note, I appreciate that's a close-up, but your paintwork looks severely scratched. I'd be wanting to get a professional paint correction carried out, too :(

Definitely looks like someone at the dealer knows about it and did a little botched DIY to fix it, only to make it worse. You need to bring that back.

Yeah, your paint and I'm not talking about the blemish, looks TERRIBLE! Look at all those scratches! Oh hell no! If you just got the car, take it back!

How did it go at the dealer, VRYALT3R3D? I'm here to help; please send me a PM with your name, best contact info, VIN, current mileage, and servicing dealer.

Defect

I have the same problem but this defect is on half my car. It looks terrible. Not to mention it is black and the more you clean the car the worse it looks... I rather just leave the dirt on the car.....
