Dealers with 2021 mustangs

I was checking up Cargurus, and they seem to have some 2021 stands in stoc.


1. A mach1 with high ADM
2. 2021 black accent package
3. grabber yellow

Grabber yellow just look like a highlighter to me with these picture.

My local Autonation Ford dealer had a Shelby GT 500 in grabber Orange.
Sticker on the window was $103,000 and they added a few items for $22,000.
I could swing the check but would have to work an extra year before retiring.
I had no idea how much the Mach1 would cost. Purchased my 2015 GT Premium convertible for $44,000. But added wheels, exhaust, intake, CAI, TB, Spring, shocks brakes, half shafts, tires, sway arm braces. I think I have another 18K in add on's!
The Mach 1 is such a deal!

Every ford dealer within 50 miles of me has at least two '21s on the lot. My biggest takeaway from looking was how many 'new "20s a re still sitting on the lots.. a couple dealers have a dozen or more.

We just got a '21 HPP premium in antimatter grey, pretty nice color, kinda lighter than magnetic. The yellow reminds me of Springtime Yellow on the first generation (and was the original paint on my '66). We still have a fully loaded metallic red '20 GT500 on the showroom floor dubbed the "golden ticket" and a white GT PP1 manual I wish I could afford...

I don't like those black wheels though, looks tacky. Would rather have the last style black package wheels.

$80K for a Mach1? Who in their right mind would pay even close to that, especially now? I feel for those who want one; they'll have to wait a while until reality sets in for those greedy dealers.

The same people who paid massive ADM on the 2019 Bullitts, the same people who paid massive ADM on the GT350/350R and the GT500’s....

Those are the people driving the “if we mark it up to ludicrous price points, they will buy it” movement.

You want to own a “limited” this or that? Let the idiots who “have to have it” pay the ridiculous ADM and eat the nearly 30% deprecation after it rolls off the lot; wait 1 year - you’ll be able to buy that same vehicle for HALF of what the initial idiot paid...
