I've noticed a few dealers putting dealer stickers on the back of their cars. I hate it but what do you think.

I always tell dealers to leave their advertising off my car unless they want to pay me a royalty for being a rolling billboard. Most comply, the others I point it out during the pre-purchase inspection & tell them it needs to come off to my satisfaction before I will pay for the car.

True seen some that look like a paint stamp and not a sticker. Well off to the silicon valley auto show.

I always tell them to take off anything like that if they happen to already have put it on. Never had a problem.

Usually taking off their junk plastic license plate frame is the very first thing I do when I get home.

Ive seen many cars with these and find them very annoying. I dont see California dealerships doing this at all. They have license plate frames but thats it.

I have not seen a sticker except for the used carmax ones. As for license plate frame/paper license plate yeah. Leaving it on mine since I had a great experience.

This.

My dealer knows better than to put stickers on it or installing the front license plate bracket. I did not even have to tell them this stuff.

You should tell them: How much are you going to pay me for this advertisement you put on my car that I didn't ask for?

Just take them off. Should be pretty easy.

The dealer i buy most of my cars asked before they put it on. I always tell them if you think your dealer give a good service then put it on, when i get a bad service multiple time i just take them off.

Not a chance. This is ones of the first things I bring up when we're close to closing the deal. I told my sales guy & the sales manager that if it shows up on the car I'm walking away from the deal... I reminded them both during the entire waiting process (no stickers, no cleaning, etc) JUST in case they had a short memory.

I've seen paint scratches from a dealer putting stickers on and failing to cleanly get them off.
