I always tell dealers to leave their advertising off my car unless they want to pay me a royalty for being a rolling billboard. Most comply, the others I point it out during the pre-purchase inspection & tell them it needs to come off to my satisfaction before I will pay for the car.

On my 350 purchase I was very happy to tell them it was ok to put their license tag holder on, heck they got me msrp on my custom build and order to delivery was about 60 days. I'll give them some love for that

When I see such things I slowly remove my driving gloves, and while holding both in my right hand, I lightly slap the sales manager across the face with them, and before the look of ignominy (I make sure there are lots of other people present) leaves his face I order him to remove the offending adhesive advertising.
