Dealer Delivery Impressions - City Ford Sydney

Hi guys, after many months I'm hopefully only 10 or so weeks away from taking delivery of my new pride and joy.

Got me thinking whether anyone had picked theirs up from City Ford Sydney in Zetland, and whether there was any lessons learnt that would be useful to know in advance?

Also curious to know timings from boat arrival to pickup, particularly from that dealer if anyone's got a reference. Thanks team!

I picked mine up from there mate, Alex was really good. They picked up my plates from Botany RMS for me and mounted on my Lakin brackets, can't fault them for that.

Like most dealers, he was a little behind in terms of tracking on the boat, but emailed and texted me every week once it was on it's way which was nice. They also worked hard to win me for finance, and beat everyone by a fair margin.

Don't really have any lessons for you, just make sure you look over the car prior to the pre-delivery inspection, follow the guide on here.

My boat landed on the 29/7, car was delivered to dealer on 6/8, pick up 8/8

Can't remember exactly but think it was 4.49% over 5 years. 30k loan, came out to about $138 a week (paid fortnightly). They originally offered like 8%, but fought hard to beat Esanda.

YMMV, but I just turned 24, so think that's a good rate for my age

Yep..got mine from Alex at City Ford. Fixed the misalligned passenger door and car was great at pick up. Alex took a lot of time to take me through the car features.

Msweet, I notice your sig mentions a Corsa. Is that a xtreme CBE by any chance? I'm considering one but would love to talk to someone who lives with it day to day, or better yet hear it in operation.
