Dealer advertising in-transit GT500, Ford Order Tracking shows different dealer

Looking into a 2021 GT500 that is showing as in-transit to a dealer. I talked with someone in sales and they confirmed it should be arriving within the next couple weeks. However, when I looked up the VIN + Order # in Ford Order Tracking, it shows being delivered to a different Dealer all together. I've asked the dealer about it and they aren't completely sure but believe it's because they bought the allocation off another dealer. Waiting for them to confirm, but wondering if anyone else has experience with this and/or if it's normal? Seems odd...
