I am really sorry to say this, don't take it as a negative review, because the wheel looks awesome, it is really 10x nicer than stock. Just when I look into my car before I drive in, it makes me smile; it is simply awesome.

...but I have this wheel... The part where you actually hold the wheel ( 9 and 3 o'clock) is very thin, thinner than the stock oem wheel.
If you do any kind of track driving and you hold your wheel properly, it will annoy you a bit.

My fingers go over the back and rest on the back side plastic piece behind the switches.. My big finger goes over the mid section and rests on the stitching.... I don't track my BMW, but it has the "M" style wheel, and it's SO MUCH THICKER than this wheel, there is no comparison.

Just my 2 cents.

Good review. The contoured portion where the hand rests is designed to fit inside of your grip during your normal driving habits. I can see how a wheel that is even thicker can give more control on track

I wrote dctms on Facebook messenger and they asked for an email. I emailed them about wanting a 2018 wheel and got no response. After another Facebook message I got a response. Whoever was on the other end of the chat said they have what I want available but it’s the 2017 version. They were not aware that there was a change for the 2018. I explained that there is quite the demand based on forums I’ve read. They asked where I read this and I quoted this thread on this forum. I’m hoping that can create some progress and make us all happy sooner than later.

Too bad they dont fit 18. Assuming 19 will be the same. Would look killer with the CF dash

I cannot believe that the 19's are out and there still isn"t an option for us '18 owners. I'm gonna hate paying $350 for the GT350R wheel which i don't really like. I always thought mustang had one of the biggest aftermarkets.

The waiting game sucks. Takes a little time to change the molds, have them fit tested, have them tested for collision resistance etc. I think the model for 15-17 didn’t drop until late 2016.....

This is exactly what I want!! Except it has to fit my 2018 GT350. It's now 2019 and still no steering wheel for the '18s.
