Having installed on a 19 Eco w/AE and a 19 GT, any thoughts on a 19 GT w/AE? I've been thinking about doing this but everything I've seen says "doesn't fit w/ AE"
I bet the Draw-Tire works just fine. I'm so sure that I have a Corsa AE setup waiting to install and convert mine over :D Install is days away!

Awesome! Can't wait to hear how it goes. I don't need the hitch yet, right now my bike riding is local but that will change in a couple months.

I bet it does too. I won't be going through that again. Going for the suction cup mounts like Spartan has after I get some money returned.

I carry mountain bikes most of the time so that type of mount really isn't an option...

Sorry my man, didn't mean to mislead, that was just some random internet image mocking people who use their Mustang to carry their bikes around. šŸ˜‰

I can barely look at that picture above me of the yellow Mustang with a trailer hitch loaded with bikes driving around in the snow.

SeaSucker makes the better version of the suction cup roof rack, rockbros has a decent/cheaper knock off version available on Amazon. I have the Rockbros version, but like Mach pointed out, I'm not a fan of loading up the mountain bike over my car after a messy ride.

I installed a curt hitch on an 18 GT w/AE. I had to bend the AE module brackets ever so slightly for clearance but it worked. No issues after ~18 months. I never wrote up a full install post, but dropped some thoughts here.

Here is an update. E-trailer gave me a partial refund.
I then provided documentation to Curt on June 15 requesting reimbursement of my mechanic's labor bill.
On July 29 I was advised the issue had been referred to "engineering and quality " and I gave my vin# so they could verify my configuration. Not a peep since then, another month gone by,

You mean, unlimited monthly scratch plan? šŸ˜†

Unfortunately, Iā€™m one of those that made the list of backing into their garage with bikes on the back. It was in the truck. Completely forgot they were up there (paying attention to the backup camera vs mirrors). Thankfully the SantaCruz 5010C was okay, the One-Upper didnā€™t fare so well.

FYI IMT makes a highly rated version with adapters that is half the price of the Seasucker and $100 less than the Rock Bros. (The 6" version with adapters. All are not rated similarly)

You need a new mechanic because it only needed a simple exhaust modification

I'm updating this old thread to note that Curt has updated their wep page to indicate that this hitch won't fit cars with quad tips from 19-23. There is no easy mod for this, as the muffler seams are tight up against the hitch.
