About 2 weeks ago I noticed moisture building up in both my tail lights I thought it was probably a bad seal of the lens too the housing but I inspected it closer and noticed hairline cracks in between the light bars. I had no impact to the rear of my car either. Has anyone else had this problem? Im going to the dealer Tuesday and will find out if warranty will cover this.

Hey, can you please add arrows where the hairline cracks are, to check our cars? Can't tell from those photos. Oh, and how old is your car, how many miles, and has it always been garaged? Thx.

That looks like the plastic is starting to get brittle from weather extremes. I had something similar years ago occur with gardening containers. I found that containers I put a "protective" coat of car wax on were trashed in 2-3 years. Ones I left alone lasted 3 - 4 years. The way it was explained to me was lots of plastics are porous and need to breathe.

Oh, that sucks. Not a cheap replacement part. Hopefully they're covered by warranty. I think this is part FR3Z-13404-F

Doubt it's covered by warranty, Ford denied me twice when I tried to get mine covered but it was even more obvious cracking and along the main portion of the lights on both sides. They said it was due to impact which it couldn't have been.

Thankfully I found a take off set of new 2018 tails for $150 and just swapped to get it over with.

Yea eBay or on here will be best for getting replacements for under $300 for a pair.

Don’t pay dealer prices, you’ll be lucky to get $800+ per side from a Ford Parts counter...

My tails look good, fortunately. I suspect the sun has a lot to do with it, but it shouldn't be happening on a car this new, even if exposed to it all the time.
