Cquartz 3.0 and Scholl Concepts S20

Well, after reading a lot and watching a lot of videos I decided to apply a ceramic coating to the car.

Started today with:
-Meguiars Shampoo Plus and 2oz of Purple power on a foam cannon.
- Hand-washed using Meguiars Wash Plus+
- Iron decon
-Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay bar with Wolfgang Uber Rinseless
-P&S Brake Buster 50/50 ratio
-VRP for tire dressing

Tomorrow I will be using Scholl S20 Black with Lake Country pads. I decided for that combination after watching Car Craft Auto Detailing work on a Mustang.




Gyeon Prep to remove oils and surface prep. I will be applying 2 layers of Cquartz UK 3.0 and 1 of Gliss.

To properly prepare my Stang for her first detailing from me, I've used Scholl S3 for bigger defects , S20 and finished with S40. Result is very very impressive! And no dust at all. Those products are fantastic!

So using Scholl S20 I was getting fantastic results but too much dust. Pretty sure it was my technique (or the temperature. It was a hot night) I still consider myself a beginner. I switched to Auto Fanatic Secret Weapon and got the same results w/o the dusting.

I used Griots Garage DA with LC orange SDO pads.
