Coyote Fender Badge Group Buy

Howler fender badges installed. Black nickel/black. And I found out the stock 5.0 badges are not installed level from the factory. I guess they thought it looked better on a slight angle to flow with the fender line. I noticed when I lined the bottom with painters tape I put a level to it to make sure it was straight and, nope! Both sides are the same. And yes, my level is accurate or my house is crooked lol. I decided to install the badges by the level. And you can see why Ford chose it this way. The body line plays tricks on your eyes. And I know my car is disgusting. I have been trying to get with my detailer for weeks now. But every time I schedule a time it's either raining or snowing, or something just comes up.

This is a good point! I played around and installed mine a few times. I found that lining it up with that top body line looks the best (IMO). I didn't think it looked right to me to have them level, I felt they needed to lean forward a little. Good to know that the 5.0 was not level to begin with.

Yeah I realized this after I did the one side. I thought I did a bad tape job at first so I leveled the tape then installed the badge. It didn't even occur to me Ford wouldn't put them level until I stepped back and noticed the body line. But it was already done so I did the other side to match. Still looks good. Also, it was impossible to keep the nose stuck down at the tip. The curvature of the fender didn't allow it. But you can't really tell.

Still on target for next month. We got a progress photo from the factory and the quality looks good. Once I get firm shipping dates from the factory I'll post an updated. Unfortunately, other than that nothing to report. Hang tight guys the wait's almost over.
