The tank is 16 gallons. I got the car with 10 miles to empty and it took 15 gallons to fill it.

That’s my point. My car was not right. They reprogrammed yesterday. I’ll see on next fill up

Well hey. Fancy meeting you on the forums. My plant runs GE's Mark VIe to control our turbines & BOP, and for whatever reason they put me in charge of managing the controls at the plant. We'll have a few of your guys out during our fall outage here soon. Anyway, just saying hey and good luck with your issue.

Thanks man!! I’m MkIV, MkV, MkVe, MkVI and MkVIe Controls system. I do mostly HD gas turbines but dabble in Steam occasionally as well

Not to beat a dead horse but i drove mine until is said 9 miles to empty, and i was able to put 14.75 gallons in it without trying to milk anymore in. So i would say mine is dead perfect.

Did you see my response about driver’s door ticking/rattle? My new door panel is in its way and dealer will check it for the same defect when it arrives

Its funny you mention it. I was just looking at the photo. Yes, that is exactly what it sounds like. I dread the car having to go back in the shop after it gets out of the shop..... I would just do it myself, but why should I rig something that is not right from the factory.

When I installed my splitter, most of the rivets were loose like that. I mean how hard is it to correctly rivet something?

Looks like I win... after the transporter unloaded the car at delivery, it was very low on fuel. I drove it down the hill (<2 mi.) to the gas station — she took 15.23 gallons! Every fill up since has been closer to 12. I wonder if you are just not running it low enough?

I ran it down to same level as my 2015 Limited. About a needles width off “E”. I was always able to put at least 14.5 gallons in.

Any change?
Car went into the shop and had the drivers door panel replaced. We compared the original door panel to the replacement. The door handle of the original was not a tight fit on the backside of the panel with the plastic clips and such. New panel was tight. I just got it back last night and only drove it from dealer to home (14 miles) and the ticking, vibrating noises were not there. I'll check on a longer drive tomorrow when I'm off. They reprogrammed the instrument cluster and when I ran the car down to 12 miles to empty and stopped to put gas in I was able to put 14.1 gallons in. This is the 2nd fill-up since it was reprogrammed. So far the issues appear to be fixed. Not much they are going to be able to do about the heat in trunk from a warranty standpoint, but I may have it done myself.
